Sundown
A stranger walks in the palest moonlight
Hell hounds following close behind him
Custom suit made from rattlesnake hide
Shadows bending within his every whim
All living creatures were returned to dust
Once this spirit visited their sleepy town
Rumor has it the community was cursed
Destined to be vanquished after sundown
Hell hounds following close behind him
Custom suit made from rattlesnake hide
Shadows bending within his every whim
All living creatures were returned to dust
Once this spirit visited their sleepy town
Rumor has it the community was cursed
Destined to be vanquished after sundown
Author's Note
Late night musing. I don't know if letting this write see the light of day, was in my best interest. But it's all I got for tonight.

I can see that, Tams. Back when they knew how to make good programming on television. Thanks so much for your kind words and continued support. Appreciate you.

If you're talking about the movie, it wasn't what I was thinking. But I could see that interpretation for sure now. Thanks so much for your kind words and continued support, Shiloh. It means a lot to me. Appreciate you.

Re. Sundown
Good job of bringing variables and characteristics together in this haunting atmosphere, scene, and attitude you described. You have a great vocabulary, and there is a lot of synonymity as this unfolds, getting deeper and darker in progression. It builds up nicely to the ending. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for your kind words and continued support, brother. That really makes my day. I didn't like it much at first, but after the comments and rereading it a couple of times. I guess it wasn't as bad as I thought. Appreciate you.
