Elephantasy

When i arrived home yesterday
I
To my surprise
Espied
A herd of elephants
Lying upon my bed
There were a score of them
But luckily
They were quite small
Small enough in fact
To fit all twenty of them on my bed
But they got round this
By intertwining
Trunk to tail
The thing that surprised me most
On finding twenty elephants on my bed
Is that the bed didn't collapse
Under their considerable weight
Maybe it was because
They were all pink
Or maybe
Just maybe
There were no elephants in the room
After all?
