Crosswords Coffee

Ah  !, in these sweet summer hot days  
As my crosswords paper comes fresh  
Against the mornings, stern sunny rays  
An early walking, a potion anti-stress  
   
My days now turning pretty chilling  
As the August days start to regress  
And the weather, rather more appealing  
The mild breeze, makes the heat e'en less  
   
And yes, i just love all the seasons  
Be it sleet, snow, frozen ice or even hell  
Sharpen the quill, and  brighten my reason  
Make a bouquet of thoughts, in poetry to tell  
   
I take the short pathway to mountain  
By the pine forest, i get a magic spell  
As i hear the murmur of the old fountain  
By the mansion as i pass, my feelings swell  
   
The paper read, the headlines skimmed  
The crosswords puzzle is my best play  
Without plain definitions it seems  
Clueless riddles to the youth of today  
   
But, music, and Nature and a sip of coffee  
Will widen your scope to things you don't see  
The bright ideas come then, unexpectedly  
Between nature hands, you are given the ABC's
