From Beyond (part 1)
A day before my mother died on the operating table, I had this dream
I was in a ditch
I was digging with some other men
My mother comes up to me
She is happy & smiling
She tells me everything is going to be ok
She wants me to pick out a coffin for her
The last thing I remember is that she told me that she loves me & that I will be seeing her in a few weeks
When I woke up, I tried gathering my thoughts from this dream I had
I immediately called my parents house
No answer
I tried their cell phones
Still no answer
An hour later, my father calls me, telling me that she had to rush mom to the hospital
She was foaming out of her mouth & was convulsing
I asked my father if there was anyway I can see her
He said, "Not at this time."
I called in "Sick" that day
I drove to the hospital to keep my father company
It was several hours before the doctor revealed to us some horrible news
My mother died on the operating table
She had a large, malignant tumor on her brain
I couldn't believe it
She spoke to me last night in my dreams, hours before she died
I told my father this
He was becoming belligerent
He said, "Your mother is dead, have some goddamn respect!!"
As he left the room, I decided to leave and go home
I know what my mother said to me last night and I'm happy she made a visit to me before she departed
I was in a ditch
I was digging with some other men
My mother comes up to me

She tells me everything is going to be ok
