A Broken Silence

A juxtapositioning
As people
In their multitudes
Were dying
Terrible pandemic deaths
Whilst most of nature
Was blossoming
Overgrown verges
Now a hive of activity
Bees, and butterflies
Fluttered, and buzzed
Over beautiful wild flowers
The silence of human lif
Replaced by birdsong
Which broke the silence
And the solitude
Becalming fears
Of the other reality
