HANGING FRUIT

WOW!
It quickly
caught my eye
in a surprising
moment ... I
couldn't take
my eyes off it.
SO
big and perfectly
shaped. I was
tempted to reach
out and touch it...
oh how I imagined
how it would taste:
sweet, wet and juicy.
BUT
the sign stopped me:
"Please Don't Touch
The Apples Unless
You Intend To Buy Them."
NOW
I still wonder how the
beautiful fruit would have
tasted in a prize-winning orchard.
