Whether we want to admit it or not we all have a desire for pain. It can take many forms but there is one medium of pain that rises above all others, it brings so much sensation and growth that when it's all said and done, it was pleasure all along. I use the ways of word and prose to express this juxtaposition of pain and pleasure and how, in a way, they are connected, quite possibly the same. So come along with me on this journey of coming to terms with the monster that lies within us all and learning to feed the beast.
