The moon has a dark side
…a harem of stars
to fuck every night;
surrounded by his concubines
he sucks up their light,
and glows with an
aura so saintly and white
thus, a naïve is fooled
with his deceptive sight
a vampire in disguise-

It’s sensual and mysterious. Alluring in its darkness.
We don’t often look at the moon this way.

I stumbled across this and I’m glad I did. I think the concept was absolutely captured beautifully by the poem, the rhyme scheme was a delight as well. It read very smooth and flowing. I genuinely enjoyed it.

I agree moon doesn’t has its own light but it has the tendency of reflecting and enhancing the light it takes. Very smartly chosen words now when i will see the moon it will make me feel sensuous.
