The Cycloptic Pixie

The mother, was orphaned at a very young age
So knew nothing of her parentage
Or that one of them, was part pixie
And the other, part cyclops
So thus, the inner child within the mothers womb
Was effectively, A one-eyed pixie
This child, also had an inner eye
Ordinarilly referred to as the third eye
But in this case, was the second eye
None of which
Would make little sense, to an average human
As most would have two eyes already
And couldn't comprehend
A cycloptic pixie with an inner eye!
Unfortunately
In the case of this particular famtastical creature
It had both the inner, and outer vision
Of a bat at night
Luckily, pixie ears worked in a similar fashion
As a bat using echo location
But without the ability to easily get airborne
However
On the day of birth, both parents were delighted
The mother wriggled both her pixie ears
And the father winked alot (inwardly)
Then stamped his cloven hooves with joy
The child was named Kim
Kim was Asexual, like a fragmented worm
This was only to cause problems later in life
As Kim wasn't quite sure who to mate with
A cyclops? a horse? a pegasus? a unicorn?
Kim tried them all, and more besides!
Including a drunken incident with a donkey!
But Kim, put this down to alcohol, and poor vision
Others often wondered, did Kim mean outer, or inner vision?
Kim had attended school, and did okay
But was hopeless on sports day
So didn't compete
The egg, and spoon race
The three legged race
The sack race
But did compete in
The hop, skip, and jump, and hurdles
Later in life, Kim did actually win
A village wellington boot throwing competition!
Kim once bore sole eye witness to a solar event
And was thus interviewed by a local reporter
Who at first wrote a solo eye-witness report
But then changed the heading to
One-eyed one eye witness
Kim eentually met, and married
A delivery driver called Hermes
Who worked for a local telegram service
They could not have children
So adopted a Shetland Pony
And a carrier pigeon
And lived happily ever after
