Why (Without the Question Mark)
A fools query,
An unsolvable riddle.
An endless loop,
Without a real answer.
I don’t need to beg you for closure,
I don’t need to fix myself for you.
Sometimes a reason isn’t needed,
Or maybe you never even had one.
What answer could you give,
That would be worthy of this hurt?
What reason can explain away these scars,
Can it rinse away blood?
Can it erase the nights I spent wailing,
Can it stitch me back together.
I don’t need your excuses,
I don’t need the last word.
I’m not begging you for closure.
I’m not asking
