Withdrawn

You said you love me but i know it's a lie
How can you say you love me and then make me cry?

Lately you don't have time, we're barely even speaking
Going out at night creeping
Calling out his name while you're sleeping

I pretend I don't hear cuz i don't want to believe
Dont want to start a fight cuz I don't want you to leave

I gave my heart to you girl, what more could you want?
Then I saw you out with him at our favorite restaurant
Come through the door and have the nerve to kiss me nonchalant

You're already gone
And I'm still holding on
To the memory of a love
Im still here but you've withdrawn

How can you sit here and keep up this charade?
And act like you still care about the promises we made

Opened my heart so that I could let you in
Something I made myself a promise that I'd never do again
Looked me right dead in the eyes and told me he was just a friend

I knew that it was off but I tried to show you trust
You turned your back on love and gave yourself to lust

I can't get the picture of you two out my head
What you were doing in our bed
Should have stabbed me in my heart instead

You're already gone
And I'm still holding on
To the memory of a love
Im still here but you've withdrawn

There's nothing left here, it's time for me to go
Packing up my shit while my feelings overflow

Thinking bout the dreams that are dying on the floor
As Im heading for the door
I dont know you anymore

Started out as strangers and we're right back where we started
Minus all the fucking years that you casually discarded

I Would have died for you but now the love is dead
Drowned inside the tears I shed
Should have drowned your ass instead

You're already gone
And I'm still holding on
To the memory of a love
Im still here but you've withdrawn
