From The Pastures Of Heaven
nature has words to speak
the quill his secrets leak
the hidden truth to seek
heal the heart that is sick
it's so quiet where i safely sit
betwenn the rocks and the trees
i near where i hear the bleat
it's so calm where i write
the town is remotely far
I feel close to Heaven's light
it is so mild where i tread
the shepherds track is soft
pastoral vibrations in my head
where herbs and stones abound
crickets and grasshoppers alike
nature is teeming with life around
varied nouns with local names
scatter within my simple sight
from thorns to creeping snails
an open-air museum to see and hear
learn the true alphabet and the Abc's
instill the truth into the genuine quill
as you vainly spent a lifetime spinning
around your morbid ego in tears and fears
spend the rest, in the pastures to end
surely, you won't be ever complaining
as your nature will find its Nature
the human finds his genuine earth
Adam back into the pastures of Heaven
the quill his secrets leak
the hidden truth to seek
heal the heart that is sick
it's so quiet where i safely sit
betwenn the rocks and the trees
i near where i hear the bleat
it's so calm where i write
the town is remotely far
I feel close to Heaven's light
it is so mild where i tread
the shepherds track is soft
