Forbidden Forest

There's an urban legend about a forest.
Hidden deep within.
That held many secrets through thick and thin.

You get curious one day.
And proceeded to walk astray.
Right into the forest.

You did not know what to expect.
And did not know what will happen next.
A light caught your attention,walking down the stony path.

The light go brighter as you stepped closer.
And you entered the forest's wrath.
Before you,appeared a garden.

Golden flowers all around.
And you found yourself in peace.
You found your missing puzzle piece.

With gold,shiny petals.
A shiny,bright array.
Down the forest path on a sunny day.

When the forest got dark.
In the sky danced a spark or two.
And dogs began to bark and howl.

As you feel happy,whole.
You proceeded to take a stroll.
Admiring the shiny,gold petals.

Suddenly,far away.
A goddess appeared,light as day.
With shiny,gold hair.

Light blue eyes.
Sparkly attire,matching the starry skies.
She had an award winning smile.

And asked you to stay a while.
So you sat in the golden grass.
And admired the sparkly stars.

You feel her warm embrace as she takes your hand.
Not knowing what it meant.
So you begin to stargaze.

Noticing her dress in lace.
Gold,sparkly,with patterns and flowers in her hair.
A moonstone necklace.

Makes you wonder if you are really there.
You share a warm smile.
And you stay there for a while.

Soon,you had to go.
She says, ""Remember me!"".
And all the time we spent together.

She gives you a heart locket.
And you cherish it forever.
You dance under the starry skies.

Soon,you remember her.
And time gracefully flies.
