Tombstone

Darkness overcame my mind      
As my life halted to a grind      
And this became my new obsession      
Like a manic without depression      
Thinking of different ways to stare      
The thoughts in my head that I bare   
This darkness filled with all this evil      
Scattered thoughts of life retrieval      
I lay here waiting to decompose      
Stalked by non existent shadows      
Feeling the weight from all the gravel      
I'm looking back at my life unraveled      
Waiting in this eternity of time  
My memories slowly become sublime    
Hearing the footsteps up above      
Walking away saddened by love      
At last I am finally alone
