One Last Night (repost)
I would
Forsake
All that I have
For a caress
Soft word
Sigh
Lover's touch
One glorious night
One final goodbye
Forsake
All that I have
For a caress
Soft word
Sigh
Lover's touch
One glorious night
One final goodbye

This, I felt in my bones - I know the feeling.
https://youtu.be/OFNxG0gJJaU > came to mind immediately.
Una Noche Mas (one more night) it's an emotional song...
Couldn't help but sharing it with you - sends hugs.

One glorious night would never be adequate or enough! You'd always want more I sense; such is the nature of good loving. It's like an addiction. At this rate you might need to remortgage your house! There is a sadness & resignation about this write that does feel truly heartbreaking.

One last night will never, it becomes part of your DNA that you live with as a, hopefully, beautiful memory. Hugs and love, Oral

The biggest eureka moments are sometimes so simple. Like a wooden match being struck, then watching it burn out too soon. We could have lit so much more with it, besides just staring at the flame.
Your write here is an ache, but a lovely one. You captured the feeling perfectly.

I feel your catharsis from this one, and I think that your poems are incredible in that they unabashedly express your ability to move on from whatever life throws at you! Stay express-y, Her! :)
