Love bagels!! NY has the best on the planet. Pumpernickel, sesame, poppy, blueberry, with some jalapeno cream cheese or cinnamon & raisin cream cheese, your set for life!

You're mentioned Kossar's. Definitely on my list for when I finally make it back to NY (haven't been since 1992 or so).

Everyone claims Russ & Daughters is da bomb for appetizing delights but I've never been there in all my years here.  Kossar's bagels and cinnamon bobka are outstanding but the rest of stuff there isn't that great.  There's a million bagels places here.  Nothing like NY bagels. Think it's the water ...
