Daddy did you not know?

Bren has come from her wandering in the universes
she has returned to Earth to rest
while I silently listen to her observations taking note

she is an earthling I am not
I am here with her experiencing secondhand what she feels
I make my observations and share them with you my father
I am brens alien spirit child
she is my mother and host

I would like to have my own mortal body someday
but I should also very much like to travel space
like a space pirate

Bren is communing today with the humans
Daddy does she not know she is different
she was born onto the earth as a human
but she is of divine origins, as I am also
I am deeply connected to you and mother
but I would like to experience the solitary nature of human

the collective is always abuzz with thought
Daddy, is it so very lonely for them or is it a grand adventure?
I should like to know
I taste the rich flavor of Mommy's experience from her memory banks
but I would like to know my own

it won't be until I'm much older you will allow this
for now, I am much too young a soul to wander unattended
Daddy, I should like to always be connected to you
so that no matter where I wander in the universes
I will know you are there and I won't be afraid
