Do You Feel His Embrace?
As I whisper my prayers the world slowly turns.
A miracle next to my heart gently burns.
With each flutter of movement, our grace takes its flight,
I receive now my lover in with the morning’s first light.
When I'm lost in his arms, do you sense his embrace?
Do you feel the deep union of our sweet sacred space?
In each of his thrusts you will learn love's refrain.
The love that we give is never in vain.

I'm always amazed that you remember mother's poems so clearly. I had to go back and read "Good Times" again and yes, I see the connection with what she must have felt..
