there’s a warning about

but
there’s not a warning about
fucking people up.
isn’t it more obscene
to poke someone with a knife
than with a penis?
isn’t it more obscene
to shoot them with a gun
than with semen?
isn’t it more obscene
to blow someone up
than to blow them?
if you ask me,
i say
it’s a fucking paradox.

I've wondered about this since childhood, after my friend's mother covered my friend's eyes during a kissing scene but did nothing during a violent scene. Weird. Good observational poem.

The power that certain agencies (lobbyists), weapons manufacturers, politicians etc have to constantly instill this massive fear into the hearts of those who are taught(indoctrinated) from day one of their very existence, is almost unlimited. These folks immediately learn how carrying a gun (owning many) is an inalienable god-given right, one that you must fight for with your last dying breath—usually between blows which amounts to some sort of awful physical and mental abuse in their lives. Pretty much guaranteeing that the cycle of violence is perpetual. Meanwhile, healthy sexual appetites and normal sexual curiosities are demonized as bad, sick or wrong.. It's a total sickening mindfuck, imo...
Breaking the cycle, is the key.... hopefully with better education, guaranteed access to internet and the tools needed to get and stay connected, things can slowly change..... for the better
