to outline your strengths.
 
to put curtains
over your mistakes,
to frame your triumphs.
 
i want to scratch and abrade,
to give context
and texture.
 
i want to cut deep
into the surface
creating, then cauterizing wounds.
 
to flex and fold,  
bend and shape
your fabric.  
 
to give
structure
and support.
 
to sculpt away
bits and pieces
exposing the inner being.
 
to display
the beauty
that is you.
