Image for the poem Dracon

Dracon

he cast his words at the heavens
drawing a third of God's stars with his tail or tale
shaking the earth below

woe to the earth

a fiery dragon cursed
elevating his station before his brethren
a mockery, a disagreement shook them

breath of magic
desireth of a woman
she did partake of his seed
giving birth to a murderer
he would make the dirt bleed
his teeth sharp they wail and gnash
a martyrs grief

sipping the essence of humans
drinking the sorrow of man
Dracon to be locked away for a thousand years

Abbadon holds the key to the abyss
who will shed a tear for thee?
