Court Jesta (for Jestalessa)
Girl turned lady, it was obvious to see
Her growth took strides with long legs
High heels and a voice of poetry
She smiled and fixed her photograph
The tousled hair the playful wink
The words convey her wit and laughter
Once asking for permission and input but now
darlin' rolls off her tongue with ease
Typeset princess making others bow
Sweet and spicy like an exotic dish
I've watched her long and now admire
all that it is she has accomplished
Scaled the heights and now she can see
all those below look up with respect

Yeah, i usually hate rhyming but this piece just wrote itself. seriously, it took a total of 10 minutes or so. Maybe she's just inspiring. Nevertheless, it was fun. :)

An excellent poem bursting with sensual energy. You convey her almost as a femme fatale, a darkling figure whose beneveolence comes not without a sly wink and smile to her audience.
As there's no punctuation I don't think you need to capitalise the first letter of each line, but that's the only suggestion I can make. The rest has the intense quality of a prayer. Thanks for the read.

Correction, there's one comma in the first line. Sorry, I missed that. Another suggestion would be to delete it. JMHO, of course.

I agree that there is a sensuality, but not the femme fetal type. I see grace and nobility. I see innocent playfulness. A women coming into her own while not leaving behind all the playful curiosity that makes the world interesting to discover. I can read the pride the author has in being witness to the growth the subject has made, and reading along makes you feel as if you have shared in it. Congrats to both the writer for the beautiful piece and the subject for being so inspirational.

Amen sir...Great deserving dedication to her. I am fairly new to this site but she has grown to be one of my fast favorites on here. I can only hope to aspire to such heights in her writing on here...thanks for the good read. Philip
