Shimmer

Shake my brain.
A blizzard of glitter,
twinkling thoughts of you,
shimmer insane.
Memory chooses euphoria,
in dismissal of pain.
Moments like warm sun,
sparkling on water.
The silent pleasures, roaring wild like fire.
I lay on your alter.
Cannot forget such devouring eyes.
Sparkling with pleasure
as you consume my soul's cries.

Shake my brain.
The aftermath.
Now a driving snow of shards of pain.
Distant distorted recall
of you moaning my name.
Now my name is a hot acid of blame.
Black slippery terror assaults my veins,
that clot with the excruciating truth.
I have lost you.
Severed.
Vanished.
Amputated.
Unaware the abyss shimmers too.
