Shadows Of A Piercing Nature

 
forfeiting thought I embrace the darkness
in its shadow and shade I am welcome
my regrets drown in its depths
I linger in the deep
where I am beautiful

at peace in the cold
I submerge myself in feeling
aching with need
I am attended to

my nudity seen
sacred understanding, I am vulnerable
but unafraid

seeking the solace of God
who resides in heavy darkness
I alter myself according to his desire
a soul wept after
and sought out

leave me to my thoughts
they are chain enough
restraining the pheuma

lest I escape you
