Shines The Moon's Distrust

destroying all the subtlity with derision
I prefer a antogonist to my displeasure
smiling with venom dripping
only adds to my affection for you

salting the wound I counter
your intelligence not withstanding
your offering is paltry

sinking in the mire of self loathing
your rankle raised
spite of faith reveals you seething

I seek the night and it responds to me
there is no shade for you to dwell in

the moon casts a long, last look on you
shining in your dismay
dismal in your greed

you fold to me
