Chaste

My jealousy chased you down
ripped your shirt from your back
and spew cruelties of scorn at you

The wind scream with me
following you into your sacred haunt and blew
taunting an answer from you

Berating your name and answering from hurt
it burned my lips as it fell as thunder from the skies
branding your shame

Your hidden doubts uncovered
I rejected your beauty
insulted glory fled from my sight

Vulnerable you stood naked and bare of soul
so gentle and afraid of rejection
but my desire could not bear it

As you came close you stripped me of my dignity
in a fit of vengance destroying my ego
and shaking me to my core

In a fit of rage you loomed large over my need
and with a ravenous hunger that howl
took me to you

I knew I would never know another
not in this life
not in the next
you would tirelessly find me

It wasn't enough to you I was gone from your sight
my soul was yours to destroy
Then in horror of what you have done
bring me back from oblvion

To hunt my love again
