a thought for snow
i casually
walked myself
to the
entrance
of my
backdoor,
i perched
myself
half in
half out,
there in
that framed
doorway,
and
i felt
a lightness
in
the air,
not
a freezing
moment,
still,
not the
warm missed
days
of what
summer
had been,
but this,
a feeling
like
the night
was telling
me of
its thoughts
for snow.
