Read (past tense)  the Directions

To know the rhyme scheme of a sonnet
I must perhaps use Google, to find it,
then, by search, when I  happen upon it,
I'll see the rhyming and then will mind it.

The English form is three stanzas of four
lines that rhyme "ABAB", then two "G's".
Each line has syllables of ten, no more
rhyming lines, C, D, E, F, in between.

The Petrachan form is beyond my scope
of what else I can stuff inside my brain.
It's overpacked now, and I cannot cope--
dear Lord, some motrin, please for all the strain!

Rew asked for sonnets, obliged her, I tried;
I'll shut up now, before more brain cells die.

😁
