Grieving ghost

Shooting stars reigned down
Upon lovers laying on the grass
Neither knowing their future
Would soon become their past

Accidents are never planned
Nor is grief
A life taken
By a cat like thief

Another left to carry on
Like it's ok, alright, nothings wrong
But everyone knows the truth
That it won't be long

The signs start to show
No returned calls
Disheveled appearance
Retreating behind walls

It was meant to be
So the story goes
A lost love
Followed by a grieving ghost
