wow Damon this is beautiful and painful to read
I give my husband allowances because I am hard being to love
meaning my mental health causes issues and tax on him...

I sometimes doubt his loyalty to me
but then I remember he does his best...

this is so tender a ride or die man 💕

This is something that we all have done for the love and support for someone else this is very reasonable and relatable to the mind and heart and spiritual soul 👊👍💯 respect brother poet😞 but yet it will always be true to life and love when it's so hard to try to love another person who just doesn't understand what we go through 🤔😞✍️

I really appreciated the deep dive of emotion in this poem. Marriage to me, is tough on the best of days it’s brutal on the worst and yet I found your confessed love and frustration in this piece so raw. Excellent writing. H🌷

I really love how you have perfectly you captured how difficult it can be to love someone who is suffering.
You take it on yourself and try to heal them with all your being but that can take a big toll on you too.
This is a truly magnificent representation of those feelings and that toll.

There's something so innately relatable here, Damon. Which is a feat that's not easily penned, imo ... The brevity of each stanza really makes a profound impact and leaves me basking in the sheer reverence that is felt and truly emanating. Everyone has heard the words 'for Better or For Worse' but I think it's not something that's fully understood until you're married and in the midst of life throwing you and your partner an unexpected curveball....
