Her childhood of dancing, and a life filled with grace,
Arrives at this moment, two sharing this space.
Within every whisper is the story they write.
Within every kiss they are blessing this night.
He touches her hair as she bends to her knees.
Her lips find their purpose with pleasure and ease.

Last night I dreamed about my friend and her husband’s first experience of intimacy. I've withdrawn my request that they adopt my baby. They need space for their love to grow. They asked to be godparents.
