"Why do you spend
time reading poetry
books and writing poetry?"
EASY
question to answer:
I love words and books
have since my youth.
POETRY
reading is amazing,
to read and write poetry
relaxes, engages the senses,
rebukes, corrects, changes and
stimulates fantasies and
dreams past, present and future.
POETRY
teaches, questions, touches
and arouses the senses in
every cell of the body.
POETRY
introduces me to ancient
and modern poets that
have one thing in common:
CREATIVITY.
Poetry takes me from
sad to glad, from down to
UP.
And the reasons go on and on,
and on and on. There's more!
BUT today it is YOUR

of why I read and love poetry.
