The weight's clinging onto me.
Dragging me further past the point I'd lose myself.
Listen closely for screaming in the night.
Those echoes get swallowed by darkness.
This weight.
Burdens, grudges.
I lose sight of the appeal.
I lost what I thought would make me feel better.
It's not how I pictured it'd be.
You step away from reality.
When is the time right?
When is the time to accept?
Watch the walls close in around you.
Feel the breath escape from your grasp.
All alone, trapped within a bottle.
You refuse to face your own reflection.
To endure trauma.
It's easier to believe in lies.
To endure behind a mask.
This weight.
Shackled to my limbs.
Sinking deeper into my regrets.
The hole I've dug consumes me.

These tears I've cried keep my head below the surface.
The well has been poisoned.
Its waters can only consume.
The abyss seems endless.
Though I drown at the bottom of it...
