Thanks. Yeah, life is boring without any danger. But controlled danger- like when you know you're not going to die- is best. Glad you liked the 3rd stanza. It sums up a lot for me.

I love whitewater rafting...
Being taken down hard, trying not to drown.
But so alive in those moments.
Roll like the ocean; salty, shocking, and wild.

Always loving to travel, especially off the beaten path.

Thanks for the love, and for the poetic response. I love whitewater rafting too! I used to raft the Roaring Fork and Rio Grande rivers every summer when I lived in Colorado.
