perpetuity

serendipity smiles and I gaze inward
not so deep I get lost
but enough to take my soul's pulse
reaching to the inviting day
I contemplate on the beauty of it all

I want to add to her, the day
graceful reaching the infinity
lighting the shadowy places within
and I can smile again

with the knowledge I am loved
even when I am sullen
and wander too far in the grey

in these dark spaces my soul is not alone
it is said be careful not to gaze into the void it might gaze back
so I come back from my wandering, my wondering

a little shaken by the voyage
with knowledge given at a price

Author's Note
recently I had a few questions like where did demons come from and what was the difference between miracles and magic, shapeshifting and transfiguration... the result I went through a very trying first hand experience... miracles are pure where magic appears to come at a cost...
