To love a Pisces Moon
I tried to describe you again today...
I've done it a thousand times or more
There's a surging tsunami of emotions
And I struggle with each wave inside me
One after another containing hundreds of thoughts
And I struggle to pick and choose the ones to say
I fall upon water imagery today when you came to mind
You are a perfect rainy day at the beach to me
The waves the color of your eyes as they roll and move
To try to leave that gaze is shockingly difficult
The thick wet sand pulling me down with each step
Purple seashells gleaming with the salty tears of the sky
The broken ones too sharp in the low light
Why would I leave? Where else can the waves look this way?
You are a foggy lake in my mind as well
Surrounded with cattails reminisce of castle mazes
With care you can find paths through them
That patience rewards you with something beautiful
Thick white swirling above the water in the gentle breeze
The purple grasses piercing that fallen cloud
It's memorizing dance in the wind keeps me transfixed
You are the most amazing raging waterfall
Thousands of gallons of water crashing deafens
It creates the most bewitching permanent fog
The air wet and clinging onto my clothes
Green moss with purple strands growing on the rocks
They almost glow in the intensity of their color
All that I can do is stare in wonder at the display
The ocean, a lake and a waterfall all to describe you
Each drop of my thoughts a water droplet
I would willing drown in the entirety of you
I would wade into the ocean held in your eyes
I would find the that hidden lake inside your heart
I would take all the force of nature that is your waterfall love
But all I can do is stand back and stare
I've done it a thousand times or more
There's a surging tsunami of emotions
And I struggle with each wave inside me
One after another containing hundreds of thoughts
And I struggle to pick and choose the ones to say
I fall upon water imagery today when you came to mind
