..........and despite the possible fuck-ups, as your poem shows, they still have the death penalty in the US. PS: I must say I visited (and lived in the US) when younger. Not aware then of all this dark side. PPS: sometimes they will give jail time to a guy of something crazy like 6 life sentences plus 100 years or whatever.

True. Which is not a reason to go for the pits. PS:I don't think the US is THE standard for morality, especially with all the crass in SCOTUS and the GOP at large. The US is going down the hill. Also: PPS: there is this ''new'' No Label party.......and a vote for them, it seems, takes away a vote from Biden and thus gives a plus to Trump. Very scary for the future.

i didn't vote for Biden or Trump!
Also, i do not believe any country that believes they are progressively civilized get a pass on the morality gig as all have crushed many a indigenous peoples over the decades.

i told here i didn't want her to leave but in good faith would not pretend to be who she thought i was also.
