after inipi this morning
and a warmth filled feastways
with new friends
i awakened from
a deep afternoon nap
wondering for a brief
fleeting moment
where am i at
and is this perhaps
only some wonderful dream
six days have now already
so quickly come and gone
with only two more left to go
before i must return back home
and all will pass too soon
yet each has been so rich and full
that somehow i suspect
they will be with me forever
so much has come to pass
all my dreams  my prayers
my hopes  my plans
and many unexpected surprises
so many gifts of spirit
freely given and shared
so much bountiful beauty and grace
love and peace
tears of joy
laughter of hearts
all my senses heightened here
where even those i do not know
are opened ever wider
within  without
near  far and beyond
in epic silence
i am listening
with and through them all
so effortlessly absorbed
into the living heartbeat
of this wondrous  sacred land
sharing amongst these kindred people
new friends all
in spirit  heart and hand
whether here or there
then or now
may our circles hoop
forever remain unbroken
conjoined with earth mother
sun  moon and stars
we all remember
who  what and where
we truly are
here in humble joy
our hearts sing out
great spirit  great mystery
grandfathers  tunkashila
alas we are already
finally home
here where creator
and all creation
are so unmistakably
truly one
here where the living universe
hums its endless tone
filling and feeding our eternal souls
with its high vibrational frequency
ever ringing song
wordlessly singing to us all
welcome home all my children
i realize now
i am fully awake
and this is not
just some lucid dream
so overwhelmed with warmth
with love
with gratitude  with peace
my heart is nearly bursting
as healing  pranic rains
come sweetly falling down
bringing even more
sweet blessings
to all of life
to mother earth
to each and all of us
here upon these
sacred grounds
