Betrayal and Deceit

In love she once was, this fair lady's heart,
Her husband, a man of virtue and fine art.
For seven years, he drove her to her new work,
Their love flourished as their family did lurk.

Three children graced their lives, blessings from above,
His love for them knew no bounds, his utmost love.
But fate dealt a cruel hand, a medical strife,
A blood match revealed, altering their life.

The marriage now faltered, the foundation shook,
Whispers of doubt in every shadow they took.
Betrayal's bitter sting crept into their bond,
A revelation emerged, a truth profound.

He learned she sought solace outside their home's door,
A web of deceit spun, her heart no longer pure.
A co-worker's tale revealed her secret affair,
Once he dropped her, she'd beckon another to share.

Gallivanting through vows, her infidelity grew,
Conceiving with others, leaving trust askew.
Unfaithfulness, a case woven in deceit,
A shattered union, love's bitterest defeat.
