I swallowed the battery
frenzy in my neuro pathways
emotional engulfment plaguing me
my essence erodes from the inside
resentment simmers within
wide awake and I quake with the longing
I beg the monsters to take me with them
where is the end
of this black hole?
I am breaking as I bend
this medicine
can't ease the ache
electric heart the debt I pay
when will the slate wipe clean?
don't turn out the lights
sailing through the sea of insanity
or feel the tendrils wrap around
as your ship is sinking down to forever sleep
my blade sharpened by the pumice
of egotistical lies
they slaughter anything the light touches
grip the hilt and hold on for dear life
where is the end
of this black hole?
