Strawberry Moon

There are nights
I am more wolf than woman
Gathering dreams and mysteries
I roam the woods

A delicate fragrance
Spicy and sweet
Lingers in the air
Awakening a burning desire

Echoes of unconditional
Devoted love and passion
Wash against the coastline of my soul
And kindle a fire in my heart

Gazing at the moon’s reflection
On the surface of the pond
I see a beautiful face
Impressive eyes looking back at me

 I throw back my head
Howling with yearning at the
Mysteriously gleaming full moon
High above in the night sky

Somewhere far far away
A lost lone wolf
Raises his voice
And answers my calling
