The Republican;
Here we understood to be a soul
Who long ago gave a damn for justice,
But craved much more power and control
Than the Roman emperor Augustus!
So much it meant for him to be the boss
That no other determinant mattered.
And so with time, and the Christian cross,
They made all ethics brutally scattered.
Yet still they claimed the high ground moral,
Represented by president Trump,
Who's as deadly blanched as pacific coral,
Soaking, in a petrochemical dump.
And if you think that there's a future there,
Of classic ratio and proportion,
You are assisting...terrestrial air...
With an ecospheric abortion!

I think my invective lessons are finally starting to pay off!
Often I hear people proclaiming that the present is always superior to the past, that humans are developing. Me I am not so sure even with technological advances that guarantees that humanity is progressing. Of course part of that is that not everyone takes lessons from the past. Even those that do sometimes come to conclusions that violence is inevitable and therefore the role of initiator and aggressor is always preferred. Unfortunately this are the people who seem get the most public approval.

Homicidal ideation is everywhere now that American warrior culture is rarely criticized, and the deeper thinkers, such as poets and musicians, who are bold enough to do that are immediately labeled as "pussies" or "cucks".
Folks need to realize that all strongman supporters are really just bully wannabes and their nonstop tough guy lip service will only ever be a gateway portal to assault, battery, cruelty, and homicide, and anybody trapped in that ideation is complicit in any present or future totalitarianism. We must bear in mind that violent ideation may come from any political quarter, but these days it's mostly coming from the right wingers.
Such ugly conservative climates like the one we are now in have certainly come and gone before, and it has always been an uphill struggle for the meek, especially the ones with good ideas and intentions. Florida and Texas serve us very well in demonstrating just how horrible things can get. What next? Will those governors start marking "undesirables" by pinning a yellow paper star onto their garments?
