Did a clean out and got rid of my monster desk in my dining room.  Now a simple table and a meeting place for a guest or two.  
A perfect scenario to gather and forge a poem.  It's how my mind works...

Thanks for your lovely comment.
In the process of changing my living space and creating aura in my apartment. Had dinner at that table last for the first time in many years.  Usually it's the place where everything but food ends up but changing that again.... Life in tight quarters gives ample opportunities for Poetry....

I think we've all had a table setup like that before, at some point.  As well as the thoughts that it summons.  Even as it screams lonesome, it also says "prepared".  
Your words convey the latter.

You don't get much space living in the city but I probably have more than some.  I call it my loft even though there are rooms.  The landlord painted hallways some years ago in a green not seen since WW II.  Since then I think of myself as a painter in my loft space creating out of negative studio into something pretty. Last night we had pizza and a salad and some Belgian beer with added orange peel flavor.  Weird science.
