The Witch Patch Ch 30
The Witches Annual Fall Fling Festival
October 30, 2022
Here in Plymouth and all of Essex county we have only form of law for all magical matters & events. And that is the Witches Council; consisting of four members, and as such, the honor of officiating the annual Witches Council Fall Fling Festival goes down the line choosing a different council member every year. It’s been this way for as long as I can remember and legend has it ever since it’s inception back in the 1930’s when Michael McGovern who had a seat at the witches council then and still does today, decided we needed a celebration of our own in honor of our unity and commitment to our community.
The 93rd annual Witches Council fall fling festival is being held at Fairyland Fairgrounds located down about a mile an a half west from Garrison’s Farm & Orchard and the Green forest.
Now at 2 minutes to midnight “a roar!” of thunder like cheer irrupted! as a familiar face waved and weaved through a sea of witches and warlocks while heading up to the front of the crowd smiling all the while!”
“Greetings everyone!”
It gives me great pleasure to once again to officiate this wonderful festival! “Everyone cheers in unison!” And so without further ado, let the festivities begin. Judge McGovern winked and tweaked his nose at the same time and just like that, a hail of golden star dust rained gently down signaling the festival has begun. It was like something out of a movie as the Fairgrounds turned into a festival/carnival in an instant!
To be continued…
Everyone came bringing something. We brought apple pies, scarecrows and a few halloween wreaths. Others brought meats, some brought fancy theme style cakes, while others brought trophies and beverages and so on and so forth It looks amazing.
