Moonlight Dance

The color of the sheets is now black and white.
I am about to fall,so I am holding on tight.
But the grip tightens,as I choke on problems and distress.

Then I vomit blood, blank like your face.
Blood infected with parasytes,
guardians of trauma and stress.

They will sink into your skin, taking over your mind.
And the cure is often unknown.
How to distract myself is all I know.

The wind blows,as the wolves howl.
Craving for the affection of somebody they know.
And so every night they howl, trying to grab your attention.

But they live in the forest,so you don't know in which direction to go.
All there is to guide you is their starved howl.
The stars shine brightly through the night.

Waiting for the moon to take over the night.
And now all you see is white, bright moonlight.
And you may can't help it,but howl.

Because all you ever wanted was to feel whole.
The hole in your heart slowly expands.
And it becomes a void, even when you are with your friends.

And you may feel like something is missing.
You wanted romance ,cuddling and kissing at the moonlight lake.
Because with him, your smile is not fake.

You took his hand and danced all night long.
The cycle repeats, but you finally belong.
