For what May come - NaPoWriMo2023 #30
Upon reflection,
April was a a rather bad month;
akin to an irritating
arrogant child
clamouring for attention and time,
a real struggle to love
and easy to be angered with;
a real wash out.
Now,
on it's closing hours,
I find myself
in the meditative, reflective, pondering
stance.
The quiet after the storm,
with a calm collected optimism
for what May come.

Thanks. Had I thought up the first lien first, then maybe I could've some up with something with a bit more finesse.

I originally thought ‘clam’ in the author’s note was a spelling error. And then I thought for all the hibernating you probably want to do, clam was probably mildly appropriate. 😇

Had me worried there that I'd miswrote in the poem!
Maybe on a subconscious level I was clamming up and readying to form a pearl of calm.
Or just brain no work; 30 days is enough!
