Some men can’t do certain things. Like say the L word or kiss. We all have something.
You, Sir have a true gift. Don’t ever stop speaking, even if you can’t get the whole word out.
And the painting is damn good too.

There were multiple reasons I wrote this poem
Mostly for those who have issues with intimacy.
That will never be me but like you say, men often can't get there ....

Aw man, your soft side is really lovely.
The way you wind out unrequited love, and brave the possibility of open rejection is relatable and wrenching. You were so vulnerable here that it’s hard to look away without sighing.

I'll bet it is relatable to most poets here.
To write poems about unrequited love tears me apart but what else do you do with those feelings?

Okay, I won't decipher your painting...  I won't tell you that I see a lady's hand, as she drags it away from the glass of beer.  And the reflection of the man (bottom left) judging her...  
Nope, I'm not mentioning it!  
It's a very interesting painting. Obviously.  

As for your writing, awesome!  I like it when you venture into these areas of "soft"?  It shows your heart. Never shy away from being humane toward yourself.
 I also see the patchwork from readings, that you've sewn together, to make this whole.  Little ideas wrapped together into a solid structure.  
No one will see this write as anything less than a BIG.  No fear!

One of my best comments received ever Styx.  I thank you.  You inspire me often to try and go to the heart and less shock treatments.  I'm trying harder to get back to this kind of writing.  Reading you always helps.  L is not to be denied.  I grew up with the capacity to give it.  Unfortunately some bad relationships almost robbed me of that ability to give so I went rogue for several years.  Happily I was able to shake off the evil inside and reclaim myself.  The the writing began 10 years ago and I'm still looking to Master it.

One day we will meet at the Metephor Bar and Grill for whiskey and good times ....
