The Hippy Fairy
The Hippy Fairy
Was a wondrous sight
Especially when in full regalia
In her hippy chick dress
All covered with the same flowers
That she wears, in her hair
And her wand
Her wand
Was something she'd smoke later
Having over indulged earlier
In numerous cocktails
Resulting in her crash-diving
When one of her wings
Got caught on a twig
A little scratch, and minor bruising
A small tear
In her left wing
As a small tear droplet
Fell from her eyes
In an minutest of minutes
In seconds flat
The hippy fairy
Had gone splat
Skew-whiff
On a sleeping cat
Which woke with a winded screech
But ran off to sit on the beach
Well that's how
The Hippy Fairy imagined it
The cat to think
And who knows?
Next time you see a cat
Sitting on the beach
It may be in shock
After having a hippy fairy
Landing on it
The Hippy Fairy
Rested lazily up a tree
As she took another puff
Off her magic wand
