Satisfied
Thirsty, I was drinking a glass of water,
I dropped it on the table to catch my breath,
Suddenly I was struck by the obvious,
Looking at the glass of water,
The water is no where near the top,
And it is not near the bottom,
The cup is by no means full or empty.
It is lingering at a point between the two,
I looked at the glass with intense curiosity,
Hoping the water would give me a sign,
My thought made me chuckle,
What is this indecisiveness that has me trapped in this weird moment?
What ridiculousness!
Hm,
I see,
I understand,
Is that it?
I pushed the glass off the table and it fell on the floor;
It sh-a-t-te-red!
I know for a fact it is broken now.
I shrugged and I smiled,
Then I walked away-
Satisfied.
