beautiful day

 
gentle was the day as I eased on into her
beautiful blushing, her daisies turning their faces to the sun
the trees stood at attention watching over the garden
the tulip's bright smiles brought me happiness
while the dandelions wished the day through
the shadows along the fence danced with fairies
singing along to a reel they frolicked in the sun

the waters in the pond disturbed only by the koi eating a bug
the chickens kick up the dust to forage underneath
the cats played and greeted each other it is cat society you know
the sun was so proud of the day a beautiful, natural choreography was at work
everything humming along at its pace

the skies the limits on days like today
